Our Bed & Breakfast is located on the second floor(no elevator for the time being) of a 1400 building.
The stairs are wide and not steep, and are not tiring. However, it is our custom to help our guests with their luggage.
As you go up you will notice the beautiful wooden staircase by which you access from the first to the second floor. At the end of the staircase, in front of the B&B door are two fine friezes.
The living room, whose ceiling is frescoed with a Renaissance coffered pattern, is where we serve breakfast.
It contains antique furniture, a modern piano (at your disposal at times that do not disturb other B&B guests), and a 19th-century fortepiano that, unfortunately, can no longer play due to having reached the age limit.
In the hall and corridor there are also 2 large, painted benches dating back to the 17th century.
Available to our guests, and with a beautiful view, the terrace on the B & B floor is equipped with furniture that allows breakfast to be served outdoors when weather conditions permit.
This is the terrace located on the upper floor, accessed by a spiral staircase.
We presume to think that the view from this terrace is one of the most beautiful you can enjoy in Bologna (except for the Asinelli tower, of course). We know that you will be absolutely astounded by what you see: a 360-degree panorama of Bologna that is absolutely unique.
The terrace is equipped with sunbeds and an umbrella to enjoy the sun or shade and make the most of the view.
We have the ability to secure parking in the building for one car (in an outdoor courtyard). We also have space for a second car in a garage located 450 meters from Palazzo Marchesini.
